PROGRAM DISCRIPTION
Inter- Club Trampoline
The Inter- Club Trampoline program is an annual program and athletes in this program train 4 hours/week. Trampoline is a great program for both girls and boys ages 8 and up that show physical potential, lots of energy and an eagerness to learn.
Children are normally selected from the recreational program or from spring try outs and will participate in a tryout period in early June.
Inter-Club Trampoline is a developmental program, which is structured in such a way that the main emphasis is on the “FUN” aspect of the sport. To better prepare our athletes to move into the Provincial Trampoline Program. The focus is to develop body control, spacial awareness, technique in jumping. An intoduction to combining a series of jumps and increase the comfort level druning rotations. Athletes compete at 2 or 3 invitational competitions per year. The philosophy is to provide all those who participate, a fun, challenging and successful program. Each child develops at their own pace over the year, thus allowing your child to reach their own goal in a positive way.
Provincial Trampoline
The Provincial Trampoline program is an annual program and the team will train 6 hours/week.
Trampoline is a great program for both girls and boys ages 8 and up that show above average physical potential, lots of energy and an eagerness to learn.
Children are selected from the Inter-Club program or from spring try outs .
Our focus is to continue developing body control, spacial awareness, technique in jumping. . Athletes compete at 3 Ontario Cups, and may qualify for Eastern Canadian Championships and/or Ontario Championships and/or Ontario Winter Games. Provincial Trampoline athletes will also have the option of competing at 1 or 2 invitational Competitions per year.
Our philosophy is to provide all those who participate, a fun, challenging and successful program. Each child develops at their own pace over the year, thus allowing your child to reach their own goal in a positive way. Skills learned at this level can be very complex and will require hard work and determination from the athletes.
